BURGUNDY'S PLACE

Good Looking Cooking with Burgundy

Welcome to WIMO’s first radio show all about cooking from A to Z with your Hostess; Burgundy.

While she is not originally from Barrow County, she proudly claims it as her “home town”. Burgundy has been a resident of Winder and previously Bethlehem for the last 17 years. She was raised in Virginia and was transplanted to Georgia after a short time in Florida. She and her husband Troy have been happily married for 11 years (and met while in culinary school!)

Burgundy has an Associate of Arts Degree as a Pastry Chef from Baltimore’s International Culinary College in Baltimore, MD. Her passion for culinary arts began when she was little and continues to this day. From making pizzas to working in bakeries to having her own catering business with Troy, she’s done a little of everything and loves it all. She’s not afraid to try new recipes and ideas to find something new.

“I love food! I love to see it presented beautifully, to smell it cooking, taste it, share it, and enjoy it. I love how it makes me feel. So many of our greatest times in life revolve around food events, like Weddings, Holidays, even dinnertime, and that’s what makes it so wonderful.”
